Aron Ain serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Ultimate Software and Kronos Incorporated. Ultimate and Kronos merged in April 2020 to create one of the world’s most innovative human capital management and workforce management companies. Aron joined Kronos in 1979 and played a role in nearly every functional department at the company until becoming CEO in 2005. Named to Glassdoor’s Top CEOs list several years in a row, Aron is regarded as a pioneer in workforce management and HCM. Chris Todd serves as President of Ultimate Software and Kronos Incorporated. Since joining Kronos in 2007, Chris has played an integral role in accelerating the company’s Software as a Service (SaaS) strategy while driving a focus on positive customer outcomes. Prior to becoming President of Kronos in 2018, Chris served as SVP of Operations and Chief Services Officer, overseeing global customer operations as well as information technology, legal, procurement, and facilities. Chris remains committed to ensuring Ultimate and Kronos deliver a world-class customer experience every day to every customer across the world.
Chief People Officer
David Almeda serves as Chief People Officer for Ultimate Software and Kronos Incorporated. In his role, David oversees global HR and drives HCM strategy—including talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and components of the Facilities and Physical Security functions—to support continued growth, innovation, and profitability. David is a firm believer that innovative ideas come from employees across the globe and that a talented workforce is the cornerstone of business success. Chief Sales Officer, International
Jonathan Benhamou is Ultimate Software’s Chief Sales Officer for international markets. He is the former CEO and co-founder of PeopleDoc, the Paris-based startup acquired by Ultimate in 2018. Under Jonathan’s leadership, PeopleDoc became the leading provider of cloud HR service delivery solutions, making it simple and convenient for HR to actively manage employee files, and for employees to easily access or receive the HR information they need—at any time, and from anywhere. Jonathan has been honored by many media, businesses, and cultural organizations, including being recognized as a Technology Young Leader, an honor awarded by 20 of Europe’s top technology leaders, including Apple, Google, and Intel.
Chief Financial Officer
John Butler serves as Chief Financial Officer for Ultimate Software and Kronos Incorporated, overseeing global financial planning, accounting, reporting, analysis, product and services pricing, business analytics, tax and treasury, and financial administrative operations. Prior to becoming CFO, John served in a variety of finance roles, most recently as VP of Global Finance. In 2007, he played a key role in negotiating the sale of Kronos to private-equity firm Hellman & Friedman for $1.8 billion, and subsequently in executing various modifications to the company’s capital structure.
Chief Services Officer
Joanne Degnan serves as Ultimate Software’s Chief Services Officer. She joined Ultimate in 2004 and previously served as Senior Vice President of Customer Success, spearheading numerous industry-leading services innovations. This includes Ultimate’s transition to an enhanced support model, initiating a more flexible workforce system to accommodate customer needs, and researching and tracking core KPIs that measure customer sentiment more effectively than traditional call-center KPIs. Joanne has more than 20 years of experience in customer service management and leadership, and is a member of the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA).
Chief Relationship Officer
Bill Hicks is Chief Relationship Officer for Ultimate Software, responsible for managing Ultimate’s ongoing relationships with thousands of customers. Previously, Bill served as Ultimate’s chief information officer, overseeing the company’s award-winning IT team. During his tenure as CIO at Ultimate, he was honored as the South Florida CIO Council’s Member of the Year, as well as South Florida Business Journal’s 2013 CIO of the Year. Bill was instrumental in the launch and execution of Ultimate’s industry-leading cloud solutions, and he also has overseen the management of Ultimate’s teams for customer service, knowledge services, payment services, and business operations. Bill also leads and serves on numerous community and industry-based boards. Prior to joining Ultimate Software, he was SVP & CIO at Precision Response Corporation.
Chief Marketing Officer
Jody Kaminsky has served as Chief Marketing Officer for Ultimate Software since April 2010. Prior to her role as CMO, she served in various Marketing management roles from 1999 through 2010, including VP of Marketing, VP of Marketing Operations, and Director of Strategic Marketing. Prior to joining Ultimate Software, Ms. Kaminsky held various positions with General Electric (GE) from April 1997 through August 1999, including Manager of Communications and Community Relations for GE Information Services. Ms. Kaminsky is passionate about HCM market strategy and the role of marketing in building brand awareness, reputation management, customer relationships, demand generation, marketing automation and technology, digital marketing, search engine optimization, and event marketing.
Chief Technology Officer
John Machado serves as Ultimate Software’s Chief Technology Officer, having been a leader and technologist for more than two decades. Prior to CTO, John served as Ultimate’s Senior Vice President of Development, overseeing the company’s product development and product delivery. John joined Ultimate in 2007 and has since helped lead the company in its pioneering efforts to deliver innovative HCM solutions. John’s teams of top‑ranked technologists architect, develop, and deploy Ultimate’s UltiPro.
Chief Sales Officer, Mid-Market
Chris Phenicie currently serves as Chief Sales Officer for Ultimate's Mid-Market division and has held that position since 2009. Previously, Chris held various positions in Ultimate’s Sales organization, beginning in 2000 as a strategic account manager.
Chief Revenue Officer
Since joining Ultimate Software in 1994, Greg Swick has served in several management capacities for the Sales organization. Since 2000, he has led the Enterprise Sales team, serving as Ultimate’s Global Chief Sales Officer. Before joining Ultimate, Greg held various positions with ADP, most recently as area vice president of ADP’s Dealer Services division.
Chief Delivery Officer
Britt Wirt serves as Chief Delivery Officer for Ultimate Software, providing direction on programs designed to innovate operations and enhance the customer experience. In his role, Britt oversees implementation and delivery across all markets and is responsible for transformational programs such as Partner Direct, Faster to Launch, and Next-Generation Integration. Prior to joining Ultimate, Britt co-founded OneSource Virtual, a leading provider of business-process outsourcing services. He has extensive experience in developing new markets and business lines in the HR-outsourcing industry, directing business development, marketing, and strategy execution.
Chief Transformation Officer
Rod Witmond serves as Chief Transformation Officer at Ultimate Software. Rod has more than 20 years of experience as a strategic leader and joined Ultimate in 2016, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Operations Strategy. Prior to Ultimate, Rod served as a Senior Vice President at several companies, including as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Ceridian, and as a Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Chief Security Officer
Michael Wright serves as Ultimate Software’s Chief Security Officer. Michael joined Ultimate in 2008 as one of the company’s first ethical hackers, and has since built out and led the company’s Global Security organization. His lifelong fascination of circumventing security controls provided for an early entry into the budding cybersecurity field in the 1990s, with a hands-on technical focus. The decade prior to joining Ultimate, Michael was a security consultant for several Forbes Global 2000 organizations.
